Reducing end modification of nanocellulose as a novel approach for high-performance sustainable composites

چکیده

The development of nanocellulose sustainable materials is considered as one the most promising alternatives to address plastic pollution issues, global wastes may increase 11 billion tonnes by 2025. However, how achieve homogeneous dispersion nanocelluloses (CNCs) and strong interfacial interactions with matrix materials, while well maintaining its percolation networks, a challenge in this field. As opposed conventional surface chemical modification strategy, reducing end CNCs novel approach provides an opportunity objective, which also opens new door for design stimuli-responsive CNC composites, such vitrimer Pickering emulsions.
